Requires 120 hours to be completed in 3 to 5 years:

- B. Specialized Courses (65 Hours)
- Supply Chain Structure
- Meeting the Supply & Demand

- Inventory Control (Receiving, Shipping, Material Handling,

- Electronic Data Processing

- IASCP Conference Training and Experience
The Committee will determine and approve hours to be credited
within this category
- C. Supply Chain Professional Development
( 5 Hours)
- Provide a paper covering at least 8 of the 10 topics listed
in (A) & (B) above
- Conduct or Assist with a conference presentation (These
hours will be in addition to the hours assigned to presentation.)
- Item #1 or "Conducting a Presentation" from item
#2 in this section must be completed before IASCP Certification
is awarded.

Other Guidelines
- Additional credits for educational courses relating to supply
chain professional management must have been taken and completed
within the last (3) years without exception. Proof must be provided
- (certificate, etc.). Educational courses must have been offered
by accredited colleges, correspondence schools, and special seminars
to be in related fields will be accepted by the certification
chairperson/committee. All material must be submitted to the certification
chairperson (2) weeks prior to the next conference. Credit hours
cannot exceed the maximum of 20 hours in total for the 3-year
period.
- 2. Additional credits for work experience in the field of supply
chain professional management may be awarded by the certification
chairperson/committee when concurred by the employer or employees
supervision. Credit hours cannot exceed 12 hours and are to be
determined by the certification chairperson/committee. Any member
can submit proof of company-sponsored courses and / or special
seminars, (transcripts, certificates, etc.) with a letter to the
certification chairperson/committee for review and possible additional
credits, not to exceed 3 hours.
- Professional presentation of technical information, evidencing
special knowledge and worthy information in the field of supply
chain professional management may be considered for credit in
categories "A" or "B". Credit hours assigned
to the "A" or "B" presentation topic will
be awarded along with the additional (5) hours referenced in category
"C".
- When all requirements have been met, the certification chairperson
will prepare a Certified Supply Chain Professional Certificate.
The Supply Chain Professional Certificate is good for (5) years.
At the next conference the Supply Chain Professional Certificate
will be award to the recipient.

Re-Certification Requirements
a. Renewal will be required after (5) years. Evidence of maintaining
abilities and updating knowledge must be shown through participation
in the IASCP continuing Educational process.
b. Credit hours are to be gained during the (5) years of supply
chain professional awarded certification.
c. Conduct or assist with a program presentation on a specialized
related supply chain subject if requested by the association officers
or serve as an officer in the association and / or be a committee
chairperson.
